A person can still testify as a witness even after taking a settlement in a case especially when subpoena so long as they are NOT A PARTY to the lawsuit.
We need to understand better as a community how the system actually works because that is not even a valid talking point.

It also doesnt matter if they have travelled before for anything- if he paid people to do this across state lines thats illegal and on him.
